One Touch at a Time: Rattlers & HRCA Retro-brand with Dynamite Flare

Highlands Ranch -- The Rocky Mountain Rattlers, in conjunction with the Highlands Ranch Community Association (HRCA), announced Monday that the team has changed its official name to the Denver Dynamite.

The dynamic change forged with this new partnership reflects the original expansion name awarded by Professional Arena Soccer League in March 2008 and again returns the Dynamite brand to Denver thru the Premier Arena Soccer League (developmental division for the PASL's pro league).

The Dynamite Crest and the "*" brand will continue to be the marketing focus of the organization and the Westridge Recreation Center in Highlands Ranch, remains the home of the 2004 defending American League Western Division Champions.

The Dynamite have enjoyed tremendous success on the field in Denver, highlighted by a trio of quarter final appearances:
  • Beginning with the 2008-09 PASL-Pro North American Finals Appearance against Tigres Dorados MRCI Oaxaca (LMFR, Mexico) held at Stockton, CA.
  • Followed by the 2008-09 United States Open Cup for Arena Soccer against the Tacoma Stars (PASL-Premier, now Pro).
  • Concluded with the 2009-10 United States Open Cup for Arena Soccer against Vitesse Dallas (PASL-Premier).
Player/Coach Tony Avery said, “I think we’re going to add a good mix of new and old faces to the indoor game.  Once we get our top 15 picked, I believe we will get off to a good start.

Our motto will be, “One Touch at a Time.”  Sunday’s training went well and got to see how some of the new players worked without some of our seasoned veterans and I definitely think the mix of leadership and flare will be dynamite to watch.”

The organization will continue to work closely with the HRCA in promoting the Highlands Ranch and surrounding Denver communities as they build the foundation to return the professional arena soccer experience back to the Mile High City “One Touch at a Time.”

The Dynamite will look to capturing their first division and PASL-Premier championship titles when their inaugural season gets underway in December. Single game tickets are just $5 at the door for general admission and $1 for HRCA members.
